crosd ("the app") builds a private, on-device trace from the location and time metadata of your photos and, with mutual consent, compares it with another person's trace to reveal shared place-time moments. By using the app you agree to these terms.
You grant the app permission to read photo metadata on your device. You are responsible for having the right to use the photo library on your device. The app never uploads your photos.
Comparisons require both sides to accept. You agree not to attempt to identify, track, or harass any person through the app, and not to use comparison results in a way that violates another person's privacy or applicable law. We may suspend accounts used abusively.
Some features require a paid plan (currently ₺349/year or ₺69/month). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next charge — the current period runs to its end. Your trace, hidden places and already-saved crossings remain yours without a plan.
Traces are built from photo metadata, which can be missing or imprecise. Crossings are probabilistic overlaps of place-time cells, not proof that two people met. The app is provided for entertainment and personal insight.
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using the app and delete your data at any time (Settings → Data). We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
